We’ve used Saturday afternoon for promotion of 10. Rally Kumrovec at the square in front of City Park in Zabok. In addition to the cars of our Automobile Club Delta Sport members, cars of colleagues from Automobile Club Zagorje Oroslavje were also on display. Visitors have learned the details of the competition, which will see its jubilee, tenth edition next weekend, and in the past nine it has been named the best organized rally in Croatia for five times.
The host of the programme was AC Delta Sport President Dino Deljkić, and driver Luka Dančulović and co-drivers Florian Šalec and Mario Bahorić also had the word. The Dančulović/Bahorić crew will compete in the attractive Lada 2105 VFTS with a 170-horsepower two-liter engine. Last year the car was part of a safety caravan, and this year it will be in competition. Luka and Mario arrived at the promotion from the recce, so they gave their first impressions.
The rally is as always very interesting because there are a lot of jumps. It is very technically demanding, which brings special excitement to the spectators. Personally, I always like to be on jumps and crests, it is very interesting here – said Mario Bahorić.
I haven’t driven Kumrovec yet. The Stages are phenomenal, full of jumps and crests. They have to be described well in the pacenotes. I hope we will finish the rally. I have to listen well to the co driver and I think we’ll be okay. He has a lot of knowledge and experience, we would not have come so far if he were not here – Luka Danculović concluded.
