On the first weekend in September 2021, we will find out the jubilee, tenth triumphant at narrow stages in the area of Kumrovec and Zagorska Sela. The record holder, so far, is Janos Szilagyi, who has three wins in Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, and has withdrew from the event in 2013 as a leader due to a co-driver illness. The only Croat to win Rally Kumrovec was Daniel \u0160a\u0161kin, who celebrated in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"482\" src=\"https:\/\/rally-kumrovec.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/2011.jpg\" alt=\"1. Their streak began in 2017 with the first of Niki Mayr-Melnhof&#8217;s two back to back wins in Ford Fiesta R5. Celebrations by Hermann Neubauer (Ford Fiesta R5) and Simon Wagner (Skoda Fabia R5 Evo) followed. Krisztian Hideg is the last competitor of the AK Delta Sport, organizers&#8217; club from Zagreb to win in Kumrovec. He did it in 2016 in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX. The only co-driver to have two wins is Botond Csanyi.<br><br>Rally Kumrovec grew year after a year. With the great support of the local community, motorsport was revitalized in that part of The Croatian Zagorje in 2011 when 1. Rally Kumrovec was held as a sprint event. The project was soon recognized by both the drivers and the event&#8217;s partners. You could tell by the starting list, which grew and was filled with increasingly attractive cars. Although Rally Kumrovec has always opened the domestic season, this year due to the WRC event Croatia Rally was moved to September. It was in Kumrovec that the final of Croatia Rally \u2013 Powerstage was held, which brought rarely seen drama, and to our course another recognizable point \u2013 Evans&#8217; corner.
